Catalyst & Hardener
The Renner Italia™ YC-M404 Water-Based Topcoat Catalyst is a premium product that’s a great compliment to the premium line of Renner Italia™ Topcoat products. This catalyst will help to increase durability and provide a long-lasting and mildew resistant coating with proper application and maintenance over time. This catalyst is available in 1 kg and 2.5 kg sizes.
Recommended for any product that require a catalyst or hardener.

– Increases durability, adhesion, mar resistance, and stain blocking when added to top coat – Long pot life – Medium quick drying time – Easy to blend – Contains isocyanides – when using product, proper PPE should be worn, ie face mask with proper filters (3M 60926 Multi Gas/Vapour Cartridge/P100 filter)
– Adding the hardener by blending very well with a mechanical mixer. – If you are thinning the topcoat, add the hardener and the thinner/water at separate mixing stages – After a long storage period, check and control that product is clear – Use the product mixed within 3 hours. Do not use the remaining mixed product after such a time. Exceptions to this recommendation must be clearly written on the TDS of the component A – On application the temperature of the product, the substrate, the coating and the working environment should never fall below 15°C(59°F) Coatings applied at lower temperatures will show chemical and mechanical properties lower than standard performances that can be normally achieved – Coating left over (washing waters, waters from spray booths, used coatings) must be disposed of according to local regulations. Never dispose residues directly into drains
